Accès Famille Program (City of Montreal)

Français : Programme Accès Famille (Ville de Montréal)

City of Montreal program offering an interest-free loan to help families reach the minimum down payment. Income and property price criteria apply.

Definition

The City of Montreal's Accès Famille program offers an interest-free loan to help family households (with dependent child[ren]) complete their down payment when purchasing a new property on Montreal territory.

Key parameters (variable by borough, to be verified): the municipal loan can be up to $50,000 or 5% of the property price, repayable over 15 years without interest. Maximum income criteria apply. The property must be new or pre-construction on City of Montreal territory.

This program can be combined with the HBP (RRSP) and the FHSA to stack down payment sources. An AMF broker familiar with homeownership assistance programs can identify possible cumulations based on the buyer's profile.
